NAHC and its affiliate the Hospice Association of America (HAA) wanted to share two recent updates, which were posted to the CAHPS website regarding the hospice CAHPS survey – Updates to the CAHPS Hospice Survey Quality Assurance Guidelines Technical Corrections and Clarifications Document and the FAQs.
At this time, hospices should be contracting with a vendor to complete a dry run of the Hospice CAHPS survey process. The dry run process should be completed in at least one of the first three months of January of 2015 (January-March).
Updates to the CAHPS Hospice Survey Quality Assurance Guidelines V1.0 Technical Corrections and Clarifications Document were made on February 13, 2015.
