Medicaid Enrollment Grows By 6 Million Since Health Law Rollout

Medicaid enrollment increased by more than 1 million in April, bringing the total growth to about 6 million since the health law rollout. The increase shows states are making headway by reducing the backlog of Medicaid applications that were built up due to communication problems between healthcare.gov and states. Medicaid overall enrollment in 47 states and the District of Columbia has topped 65 million.
