Connecticut’s Unique Insurance Outreach Campaign

Attempting to reach target demographics, Connecticut has spent a ton of money marketing how to get insurance under the ACA starting October 1st. Outreach workers have been attending various events such as fairs, concerts, and festivals throughout the state to relay their message. Connecticut is one of 16 states and DC setting up its own health insurance marketplace and is hoping to enroll about 100,000 during the first year.
